REAKTOR is a privately run transdisciplinary art institution based in Vienna. Here, on a total surface area of 1,200 m2, various forms of artistic expression are brought together and made accessible to the public. The focus is on film, space-defining art and music theatre, new music, jazz and experimental interpretations of contemporary music.
In October 2022 we present the fifth edition of the REAKTOR International Film Festival, RIFF. Three days of screenings will display films from all over the world.

Who is it for: Filmmakers

Benefit: Originally three awards honoured filmmakers in fundamental elements of film - screenplay, editing and direction. With its fourth edition, the jury expanded the award categories to eight.
Awardees will get the opportunity to reach the Austrian public through media cooperation and REAKTOR's own vod-platform. Expanses for accommodation during the festival will be covered for awardees by REAKTOR.
