Bianca Dakli. The clearing sky, deep in the sea and an amethyst somewhere down there.“Improvisation is the engine of my way of painting”, explains Bianca Dakli, an artist born in Rome and presently based in Berlin Germany.
Sailing in the melodious and cadenced waters of abstraction Bianca’s compositions are all about natural movement, instinctive impulse, and mellifluous rendition.
Being a dancer and an artist, she finds an ingrained resonance between two art forms, that dictate the flux of visual terminologies. Constantly improvising, the colour palette streams a record of his spontaneous state of mind.
Although her artworks do not limit to the essence of memoir, she is equally inspired by the natural forms that emerge at regular intervals. Impasto-kind strokes epitomize her intrepid attitude, rejecting the standard norms and formulas of conventional art practice. Characterized by intense textural surfaces, her advent of painting began way long after she completed her graduation in contemporary dance from London.
